Real nice 13 mile hike taken early May 2011.  Has a steep incline to start.  Didn't hit any of the beach side tours as was pressed for time (hockey playoffs) plus it was actually pretty exhausting.
Excellent variety of nature on this hike with tall Douglas Fir then a lot of coast views and then coming back, last 4 miles through nice foliage next to stream with thankful flatness.
Nice gigantic eucalyptus tree.  Amazing it can survive the fierce winds out there.
